Hey everyone, whether you are a believer or a non-believer than you've most likely experienced or are experiencing some kind of spiritual warfare. If you're not sure what that is, it's when Satan is waging a war against you in the spiritual realm that's affecting one aspect or all aspects of your life in the real world. He will go to extremes lengths just to attack you or sometimes the people around us mentally, physically, and more importantly spiritually.
These attacks can come in all forms, they can be sudden too because he doesn't care and he's ruthless. You might find yourself struggling financially, overwhelmed at work, spiraling down a dark path mentally, or feeling sick.
But this isn't the time to give him the satisfaction that he has power over our lives. Even more so this is the time when we should draw closer to God and stand firm in the belief that he is our armor and there is nothing to fear (because frankly, there isn't!).
We all go through situations where the only thing getting us through it, is God. I've been there and I've done that and I know there's more to come but when armed by the blood of Jesus Christ we can defeat the enemy with whatever he throws at us. The bible says that in Isaiah 54:17 (NLT)
"But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord; their vindication will come from me.
I, the Lord, have spoken!"
Recently I've been hit with a bunch of punches in most areas of my life and a lot of times it seems like everything I do is wrong no matter how hard I'm trying but I've learning to persevere just like Paul said in...
1 Corinthians 16:13-14 [13]
"Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. [14] And do everything with love."
I'm fond of the last line because with the love God has shown me I am able to share it with others by creating a mixtape below that helps not only myself but other believers and non-believers. I believe worshipping God is a very important part of being his disciple, especially during times of hardship and I found that music can help big-time, it doesn't matter where I go or what I'm doing. Playing uplifting music that fits my situation helps me to better and further my trust in God and his plan for my life.
